Teacher of Mathematics

We are seeking to appoint an innovative Teacher of Mathematics to join our successful and hardworking team. As a team member of IES, you will be surrounded by a capable and engaging staff willing to cooperate and assist. You will be responsible for preparing and implementing a full educational teaching plan according to the school’s requirements. It will be fundamental to provide knowledge and instruction to students while also helping them develop their personalities and skills.

Responsibilities: •    Effectively teaching Mathematics in English, including planning appropriate lesson preparation and assessing and evaluating students as necessary •    Collaborate with fellow staff members  •    Communicate appropriately with parents •    Performing break duties •    Contributing to the wider life of the School in areas such as special projects and presentations, school open days, parent-teacher meetings and planning field trips •    Maintaining familiarity with the appropriate curricula and current teaching trends and developments.

Requirements and skills •    Degree in teaching or in a specialized subject with a certificate in education. •    Proven experience as a teacher is preferred. •    Thorough knowledge of teaching best practices and legal educational guidelines partnered with a willingness to follow the school’s policies and procedures. •    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. •    Well-organized and committed. •    Creative and energetic. •    Strong moral values and discipline.
